About Your Instructor

Danny Raede
Co-Founder of Asperger Experts
Danny Raede was diagnosed with Asperger's & ADHD at age 12, after his parents noticed him isolating and having a hard time in school. He spent most of his childhood in his room, playing video games alone. After going to college in Denver, CO, he moved to Seattle, WA to start Asperger Experts.

He now resides in his hometown of Santa Barbara, CA where, in addition to running Asperger Experts, he enjoys tacos, travel and a good book. But let's be honest here, mainly tacos.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I buy a ticket, can I come on 1 day, and then have another person (child, husband, wife) come on day 2?

No. DIDM Live builds upon the material from the previous day, so we require that if you are going to attend, that you attend both days. Otherwise you won’t get anything out of it and you will have wasted your money.

Can I drop my kid off at this workshop and expect them to get something out of it?

As long as they are age 18+, they may attend alone. However, if they are being forced to attend, they probably won’t get much out of it, and we can't force them to stay.

Do I get a physical ticket that I need to bring?

Nope! We’ll know who you are and expect you once you arrive. You don’t need to bring a ticket.

Do you have a group rate at a hotel?

Each session of DIDM Live is limited to 50 people or less (depending on the venue), so we leave it up to you to find a good hotel that suits your needs. We do not have a group rate at a particular hotel.

Why can't kids under 15 come? Do you make exceptions?

This event requires a certain level of maturity in order to get something out of it, so we require that people be at least 15 years old to attend. If your child isn’t 15, we’d be glad to see them when they are at least 15. We cannot make exceptions to this rule, but you, the parent(s), are welcome to attend without your child. We would love to have you!
