"It's hard to know where to even start. They're shut down most of the time, and it drives me insane because something that worked yesterday isn't working today. Help!"
Raising a child with Asperger's or Autism is really hard. I should know. I was (and my mom would say still am) that child with Asperger's. I was often shut down, overwhelmed and hiding in my room playing video games when growing up. My parents were frustrated because, oftentimes, techniques that they used to rely on would work one day and not the next. There was a lot of improvisation and flying by the seat of their pants. I'm probably responsible for a fair number of gray hairs. Mom, I'm sorry (and I'm glad you have a good hair stylist!).
With that that being said, I'd like to invite you to a webinar designed to help you avoid repeating the same mistakes my parents made. On the webinar together, I'll take you by the hand, and over the course of an hour (ish), I'll walk you through, step-by-step:
#1) Why people with Asperger's or Autism are so shut down so often.
#2) Why it seems like something works one day and not the next.
#3) The step-by-step method to getting unstuck and helping them be less overwhelmed.
At the end of our time together, you'll have a solid, actionable plan and a clear path forward toward finally getting some real help for your child on the spectrum. See you then!
