"Now that they are out of high school, there is very little support. We've tried college and it didn't really work out and now we don't know how to proceed. I don't want to have a 40 year old that still lives in my basement. Help!"
Less than 10% of adults on the Autistic spectrum are employed. That's 90% unemployment. In other words: Only 1 out of every 10 are leading successful independent lives. Getting to that place of full independence is hard, but it CAN be done, if you do the right steps, and in the right order.
After successfully gaining independence myself after being diagnosed with Asperger's & ADHD at age 12, I Co-Founded Asperger Experts and talk to many parents and young adults on a daily basis that are actually doing the right steps, just in the wrong order. Once they learn the right sequence, full independence becomes easy for them.
So if that sounds like something you are interested in, I invite you to join me for an upcoming webinar. On the webinar together, I'll take you by the hand, and over the course of an hour (ish), I'll walk you through, step-by-step:
#1) What the correct steps to take in order to help someone with Asperger's or Autism gain full independence are.
#2) The correct sequence for those steps so that they don't remain stuck & dependent on you for the rest of their life.
#3) Exactly how I successfully transitioned to adulthood and the mistakes I made along the way
At the end of our time together, you'll come away with a clear action plan you can put to work immediately. See you then!
